On the 7th March 2023 Milestone Systems releases its latest update – XProtect 2023 R1.

Milestone version updates typically come 2-3 times per year, whilst patches and bug fixes are released frequently in what are called ‘Cumulative patches‘. Version updates like this one bring new features and improvements, and 2023 R1 brings some big ones. This fits with Milestone’s accelerated timeline for improvements over the coming year.

We currently have few details on the new XProtect 2023 R1 release but it will include the following:

• Installation and user experience improvements
• Enhanced situational awareness and operator collaboration tools
